The ARA Cactus Conference is coming Wednesday, September 27th. Join us for a full afternoon of education, networking and a fun as we take over Dobson Rach Golf Club's Toptracer Bays after our meeting. We are excited to bring you 2 informative Education Sessions during the day.
First, we will join our ARA sponsor Envoy to learn and discuss current inbound US immigration regulations and trends. We will be diving into the recent changes, unexpected and predictable delays, and challenges currently facing immigration managers. Our presenter will also discuss alternatives to H1B and L1 visas and other outside the box ideas and solutions. We will then bring it back to our attendees with a Q&A session to dive into areas of concern. Attendees will also receive the updated Envoy Immigration Trends report, along with a session summary.
During our Policy and Program Alignment Workshop, attendees will break out into groups to discuss the different trends in program development. Each group will be lead by one of our ARA corporate members and will dive into how to rewrite policy/program pieces, how to find information within their networks and supply chain to strengthen their program, how to balance priorities when working on this effort. Both corporate mobility/immigration managers and suppliers will benefit from learning from creative solutions others are using, how to leverage data available in the market, and how to advocate for needed change internally. The session will wrap up with each table presenting their best ideas, and attendees will receive a session summary from each group.
