We invite you to become a 2025-2026 Board Member of the Arizona Relocation Alliance

Serving on the ARA Board is your chance to contribute to the vision of growth of ARA within our mobility community. ARA was founded in 2002 and it has been our volunteer board members whose dedication to providing timely education, networking, charitable involvement along with our sense of community that has been the heart and soul of our organization.

As outlined in our ARA Bylaws every 2 years the officers of the organization shall be elected by the Board of Directors, from its own Member's nominations. Each member in good standing has the right to nominate themselves and others for the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall serve as the elected legislative and governing body charged with directing the affairs of the ARA in behalf of the general membership.

Qualifications

To be eligible as a Board Member, an individual must be a ARA member in good standing, has been a member of ARA for two consecutive years preceding nomination, and who at the time of selection meets the membership requirements as referenced in Article II of our bylaws.  Board meetings will be held monthly and be primarily virtual. We do ask that if a board meeting is scheduled in person you make reasonable attempts to attend in person. By nominating your self you will be required to acknowledge the expectation that you will be available for calls, meetings, and projects throughout the two year term. We also ask that you have your employers support in taking on this responsibility and time commitment. 

Nomination Committee

As outlined in Article III of our Bylaws A special committee to be called the Nomination Committee, will be appointed by ARA consisting of three members in good standing. These Nomination Committee members will serve to vet the nominations submitted, ensuring they meet the qualifications and to tally the Board Member votes.
